Privacy policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This policy explains what information Kubbo (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit kubbo.org or subscribe to our newsletter, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Information we collect

How we use it

Our legal basis for processing is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate — for example our email delivery provider (Amazon Web Services) and website host (Cloudflare) — under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only on our behalf, or where required by law.

Retention

We keep your email address while you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we keep only a suppression record of your address so we never email you again by mistake. You can ask us to delete that too.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and authenticated email (SPF, DKIM and DMARC), to protect your information and prevent others from sending email in our name.

Children

Kubbo is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let subscribers know by email.
